Wish that revenue would replace the PSL they have now placed on Season Tickets!!

It’s not a PSL, but a required donation to the Texan Club annual fund. The amount of the season ticket that is a donation counts towards your Texan Club Membership. The truth is almost all D1 schools, and some D2’s (West Texas A&M, Grand Valley State) have this structure and we should have done it 5 years ago. You shouldn’t be able to buy a season ticket unless you are a Texan Club member. Many schools use the model that in order to buy seats in a certain section you must donate X amount to the annual fund. Glad Tarleton is going this route but it should have been done years ago.

I’ve been a Texan Club member at the $1200 level for years. I’ve lost multiple benefits over the last 2 years. Please explain why “this” should have been done years ago. And how this new $100 per season ticket is gonna increase anything. I can promise you, season ticket sales will decrease. They already have. I bought mine last week, actually upgraded because there have been people not renewing.
Blah, Blah, D1. Tarleton need not forget the people that were here since season tickets and the Texan Club were even a thing!!

They’re farther along than these photos. The bleachers now have curves on each side that could complete the bowl. But I don’t think that’s the plan yet. I’ll try to go get some pictures this afternoon or tomorrow.

1. Better pray for night games.
2. Is this where they are sticking the band?
3. Going to look like a miniature version of Kyle Field where most of the stadium is nice, bricked, updated and then in one end zone you have a metal skeleton sticking out like a sore thumb.
4. I hope I’m wrong about #3.
5. I am excited for the on going improvements for all sports at Tarleton.

Going up quickly. I must say the purple really helps tie the room together...

Looks okay to good. The picture behind the new bleachers leaves a question. The two extending mounts on either corner of the bleachers... does that mean more seating to be installed in this build or for future expansion?

Per Twitter, looks like the new seats in the north end zone are finished.

Also, Happy Hour at the stadium from 5:30 to 6:30 tomorrow before the 7 pm kickoff.

Not quite... That's only half of the end zone seats:

RE: Memorial Stadium Expansion
I know this isn't directly Tarleton related, but Memorial Stadium is going to be hosting one heck of a playoff game tonight between Abilene High and Aledo at 7pm. I won't be able to be there, but will probably watch the stream. If you are in town, I would suggest going if you can.
